Maker's Mark or Monogram???

I have two silver plate serving spoons. On the top underside of each is an identical mark. One part of the mark is a reverse facing C with an arrow. I am unable to make out the other part of the mark. I never saw a monogram on the underside. Can anyone help with this?

Taking a stab at it, I'd say the engraving is the letters TAC with the C standing for the last name. It's the owners intitials.
