Established in 1888, when Barcelona hosted the Universal Exposition and awareness began to form of the importance of conserving the city’s heritage, the collection ranges from the Late Middle Ages to the early twentieth century, and focuses on Europe, especially Spanish and Catalan pieces.

Opening hours: Tuesday to Sunday, from 10 am to 8 pm.

Closed: January 1, May 1, June 24 and December 25, and Mondays (except holidays)

Admission: €6
