What-is-it question LIX.

Post by 2209patrick »

This item was made by the Unger Brothers, Newark, New Jersey (ca1905).
I'd estimate the length at just over 2 inches (5.08 cm).
What was it used for?

Maybe... repairing divots, or clearing a green on a golf course?

Hi Pat,
Is it for extracting golf tees?
Regards Trev.

Hello Byran and Trev.

The golfer symbol is sort of deceiving. This device has nothing to do with golf.
However, I like the idea of a golf tee extracter.
Also, this item has nothing to do with food or personal care (tweezers, etc.)

Pocket check protector, you pinch the little wheels over the amount and it makes an embossed waffle pattern in the paper.
