Need help please on a platter?

Post by lilrabbitfoofoo »

Found this platter in with my grandmother's stuff. Can't find the manufacturer to save my life. Can anyone help please? Also, what kind of a platter is this? Lovely curved bowl type base.

Ohhhh, that's the closest I've come! THank you! So do you think that its significant that the moon in mine is clearly a full crescent moon with the W in the middle, but the one in your link looks like a C with the W attached at the top? Think it might have just been refined over time?
