STERLING SILVER BELT BUCKLE MARKED T OVER C

Hi, I was wondering if anyone would happen to know the maker of this belt buckle. It is marked with a "T" over a "C" twice and in the middle of the 2 marks it is marked "Sterling Silver". It is also dated "1950" but it looks like this could have been done by the person who purchased the belt buckle. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks and have a blessed day....Ben
