ID Hallmarks on this vase.

Post by mprice11733 »

Hello all. I need help identifying the hallmarks on this vase. The only thing that I was able to figure out, please correct me if I'm wrong, is that N.S. stands for Nickel Silver. Thank you very much in advance.

Sorry, another question and forgive my ignorance, would this be considered silver plate? Thank you

In this case, yes, silver plated. NS, Nickel Silver, refers to the metal alloy to which the silver plating is applied.
