Unknown foreign hallmark on gold ring - Animal head, 2 ears facing left?

Hi there and thank you in advance for your time! Looking for help identifying a foreign hallmark on the outside of a gold ring that I believe dates to the 1800s. The mark looks like an animal head facing left with two ears - like a donkey or a bull? There is an additional hallmark that looks like a letter mark next to it. Cartouche appears to be round or oval. They are located on the back outside of the shank and are worn but just thought I'd ask!
