Chinese silver teaset?

Post by swordman55 »

Hello,
anyone that could provide any info conserning this silver teaset?

I presume it is chinese, late 19th early 20th centuary.

However, unable to find any hallmarks. Apearently, it is not unusual to be unmarked from this period.

Hi John,

Have you removed the finial on the tea-pot? It's possible marks may be hidden there.

Clever, did not think of it! Sadly, there is nothing there though.
