Help with a makers mark ID

Hello,

We have what appears to me as an eagle a "D" and a star on a sugar shovel(?). I have looked and have not found a match to this makers mark so far (of course I could have missed it!)

Found in the northeast coast US.

If anyone can help identify this or point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated.

The wholesale firm of Johnson & Godley. They supplied common table silver to retail jewelers and the like, mostly in the Albany area.
