Hi,

Welcome to the Forum.

Adding images is very easy. https://postimages.org (choose 'Share', then copy the 'Hotlink for forums' code) is recommended. Do not use Photobucket or Dropbox.

Ensure your images are embedded. Do not post links. Remember to use the 'Preview' button before submitting your post.

For more information see:

Give some time to creating your posts and we'll give some time to researching and answering them.

Thankyou Trev. I think I have managed your suggestion this time

Disregard the hand forged bolt beside the spoon. I hope the image is clear enough.

Hello, it is fairly difficult to read the manufacturer's marks with the 2nd image you have uploaded. The first 4 marks are in gothic style lettering not always the easiest to read even with a crisp image. The last letter, in a different shaped cartouche, looks like an "A" and is likely to be the spoon maker's arbitrary indication of the quality of the silver plating, as in grade "A".
There also appears to be damage to the first letter, but I think a crisper image could help the Forum get you a maker's name for the spoon. It does not need a fantastic camera, just a crisp, in-focus, phone image should do it.

I am disappointed to say that the spoon has been sunk into resin into a table so I don't have opportunity to post another photo. Does the front of the spoon give any clues? Kings design was the closest I could find. Thank you so much for your feedback anyway.
