::::: The spiral is similar to the metal jewelry being made by Alexander Calder, but I can't find any connection to Calder, and I haven't ruled out a Native American silversmith because there is a legend about the ant people and the spiral, there are many petroglyphs with ant people and spiral symbols, so this could even be Hopi, is it mid-century modernist NYC or could it somehow even be Hopi....? ::::::::::::
