Swedish hallmarks on the frame of a silver purse

Post by Marina_K »

Hello!

I am a collector of antique silver purses.
Could you please(!) help me identify the city where the silver frame of my purse was made and what company made it?
As far as I understand, it's .830 silver, Sweden, 1863.

Any help would be appreciated!
Many thanks in advance!

Always show a picture of the whole object and not only the marks!!! You are requested to read the rules!
Anyway, the marks indicate Carl Adolf Serander born 23.9.1823 in Stockholm and dead 31.7.1902 in Sundsvall. Active there 1856-1901. Yes, fineness .830 silver.

Sorry, I will post pictures of the whole objects from now on. I thought I was allowed to post only one picture in a thread...
Thank you very much for your help!!!
