Date mark doesn't agree with appearance

Post by supersteve »

Hello all Silver lovers. I'm definitely one of them - always had a thing for antique unique silver.
In the photos, I've best determined that these are called Corinthian style candle sticks?
Mainly, the date letter shows closest to 1825 but the more modern look of the sterling mark just makes me think these could be 1900-1930.
Could anyone elaborate on this please? Don't want to get my information wrong.+

Well, I tried inserting .jpg photos and it looks like it wants HTML which I hardly remember. How can I post photos so you see what I'm talkin about?

Lastly, thank you for letting me join. This website is one of my most powerful tools in research.
