Sharp, Son & Kirkup - Auction Leaflet - 1802

Post by dognose »

An auction leaflet issued by Wm. Sharp, Son & Kirkup regarding the sale of a brilliant diamond weighing 105 grains, to be held at the Bank Coffee-House, Cornhill, London, on the 18th February 1802:

It would appear from the annotation that the diamond failed to find a buyer, the last bid being 3740 Guineas.

Hello there, I realise it's been some 8 years since this was posted but I wondered if the person who found this auction leaflet could help me. I am looking for auction leaflets from Sharps from early in 1822 and I wondered if you could point me to a place where I might begin to look? Is there an archive that holds any of these?
