Indeed interesting. This Zakhoder case has been discussed rather deeply in the past). Look here:
search.php?keywords=ZAkhoder
However, this punch (ЗЗ) is different (compared to ИЕЗ, who was active in Moscov 1851-92 and in Kiev1892-1907) as well as the forename Zalaman versus Israel Efimovish Z. (?) I cannot find any trace of any Zalaman Z. in my sources. Not even a nameless punch!
So who is this guy??? I would also appreciate some more information, thank you in advance.

Among the Jewish families who moved to Moscow from the city of Shklov, there were two with the surname Zakhoder: Zolman Eselevich and Izrail Eselevich. At the very beginning of the 1870s, silver items with the hallmarks "ЗЗ" and "ИЗ" appeared. Later, they were transformed into "ЗЕЗ" and "ИЕЗ". I have no document that Zolman was a silversmith, but his son Iosif Zolmanovich was definitely a silversmith. The "ЗЕЗ" hallmark was replaced by his "ИЗЗ" hallmark.

Hello, Mart!
A very beautiful and most likely quite probable version. However, Iosif Zakhoder could not have had the ИЗЗ mark, since at that time in Russian the name Iосиф began with the letter I, that is his mark should have been IЗЗ. In the early 1880s marks were found, but I have never seen the IЗЗ mark.
Regards.

Thank you for paying attention! Indeed, I wrote earlier from memory and I need to put things in order. I'm sorry. In those years, there were two silversmiths in Moscow: Joseph Zalmanovich Zahoder and Israel Zalmanovich Zahoder.
In the early 1880s, the "IЗ" brand could also be seen on silverware.
