The maker's mark a horn in a heart shaped shield for; Arnoldus van Geffen, born 1700, registered in Amsterdam 1728 until 1769 (died) and the uncle of Johannes Adrianus van Geffen (1766-died before 1798, maker's mark a horn under crown). Both uncle and nephew were productive makers of silver toys/miniatures.

Town mark Amsterdam, conjoined year letter G for 1766, so called kleine keur, silver minimum 833/1000 or higher.
ZII mark for Waarborg/Assay office in Joure, opened in 2002 (835/000 fineness) for objects which are submitted in finished condition, which consequently could then not be assayed as thoroughly 1953-present.
