Mexico Cufflinks Aztec Calender Marked COE

Post by Tellyehmaak »

I bought these at a secondhand store here in Sweden, and would be happy if anyone know anything about them.

They are marked with faint HECHO EN MEXICO STERLING (almost invisible) and a taxmark with a 1 I believe.

On the faceside I believe it says COE, which I believe is the silversmith. I have searched this site and googled, found a few cufflinks with similar face, but none with COE and the black, which I believe is glass.

The swivelbar is marked ALPACA but the rest is STERLING silver.

The age and maker of these large cufflinks would be awesome to know.

Kindest regards

Sorry about the size, read the information. Will resize to 8" wide.

The eagle with 1 would mean Mexico City, and made between 1955 and 1979
