I will appreciate help with this mark

Post by Cristina »

Hello friends:

I'm attaching images of a curious piece.
I would appreciate if you can confirm me if it is made of german (I think that it could be german because of the moon and the crown) sterling silver, and in that case the silversmith's name, or if it is a silverplated piece.

Thanks in advance.

Cristina

Hi Cristina,

It's silver plated, the letters are E(crown)PNS, Electro Plated Nickel Silver.
Sorry, I can't help with the maker.

Regards Trev.

I suspect so, they look typical of English platers marks.
