Help identify this brooches maker

Post by infoseeker1957 »

Here is a lovely large piece I got at a resale shop some time ago. I took it to the Native American museum and they suggested that it was Mexican. The hallmark looks almost chinese to me. It is marked 925 and has a gold wash on some of the front. There is a loop to hang from a chain and also a pin to use as a brooch. Thanks to all for helping. It's not Mexican, Mex jewelry is marked Mex in some way 99.99% of the time.
It's Israeli and is made using the electroform process. I've had numerous pieces like this but finding the artisan can be very difficult. They usually had labels with the name that have long since been removed.

Wow. Never considered Israeli. I will research in that direction now. Thanks.
