Hi All,
I have tried to pin down the history of this hallmark but have been unsuccessful. The item is a teaspoon of avaerage length and composition.
Any information would be gratefully received.
Thank you

Re: A lion, a hammer and a crown
»Arm with a hammer« = maybe »Tifft & Whithing« and their successors?
Hello
Maybe it is the »Arm with a hammer« mark of »Tifft & Whithing« and their successors?
Please look here (left row, bottom): http://www.925-1000.com/ax_TifftWhiting.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
and here: http://www.925-1000.com/ax_TifftWhiting.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
I hope, that my guess could be confirmed?
Kind regards silverport

Hello Silverport,
Thank you for your input. That would make sense, an American maker using his own emblem and pseudo English marks, the lion and crown, to add authenticity to his wares.
Sneaky, these Yanks...
