The pattern is Irian and was designed by Henrik Hillbom a Swedish immigrant to the U S. This has been a very popular R Wallace & Sons pattern. I cannot say if or when the pattern stopped being produced, but the "Encyclopedia of American Silver Manufacturers by Dorothy Rainwater & Martin and Colette Fuller mentions that the company name changed to Wallace Silversmiths in 1956.
