George Edward & Sons Hallmark but with another stamp of TH?

I have a silver item with a clear Edward & Sons hallmark 1894 but it also has TH stamped before the Edwards hallmark.
Any ideas what this is?

I expect my answer may appear a little strange at first, but I suspect that may be one of the marks of Tackhing of Hong Kong. I've seen a few pieces of Chinese export silver and other oriental silver, including Burmese, with additional Glasgow marks previously, but had not mentally retained the sponser's name, but after having seen your buckle I suspect that George Edward was the probable importer of these pieces

George Edward was a great enthusiast of Far Eastern art, and had section of his Glasgow shop devoted to it. He was also connected with the Japanese art section at the International Exhibition at Glasgow in 1901.

An unlikely maker perhaps, for an item retailed through a Glasgow jewellers.

I just purchased 2 bowls at auction, I believe to be Burmese. These bear full marks for Glasgow 1896, and the Edward's sponsor's mark.

I will post pictures for reference purposes. Thank you to the website owners/contributors, which was all I needed to complete this research, now I have an interesting story to go with my bowls.

There is something in the antique instrument repair world called "The Rule Of Twos" where a customer will bring in a really obscure guitar in for repair, and then totally unexpectedly another customer will bring in another example of the exact same maker and model.

Our brains are geared toward pattern recognition, and so we remember these coincidences and try to make sense of them somehow.
