Small vase holders

Post by Lars »

Hi,
I found these two small vase holders (at least I think they are holders for glass parts), they are only 10cm tall. On bottom there are marks: "115A", "1/0", "B" and some small text I can't make anything of. Does anyone recognize these marks?

Hi Lars,

That's by Roman Plewkiewicz i Ska of Warsaw. They were taken over by WMF in 1886 and the fact that the piece has the 1/0 (silver plated) and B (britannia metal) marks used by WMF, shows it will be made after that date.

Hi Trev
thank you so much, I really had hard time to make anything out of that mark.
