Early 1900's candlestick unknown maker

Post by silverrob1 »

This candlestick is weighted and says as, as shown in the photo, ALL METAL PARTS STERLING. There are no seems on this as most weighted candlesticks are so I feel this was an expensve item when originally purchased. But I have been unable to find any info on the makers of the candlestick. Please help.

There was another that was damaged and the other was broken down because of how damaged it was. There was over 195 grams of sterling in the other candlestick after getting all the wax out. And again this does not have the fold over seems of more recent weighted silver.

Mount Vernon Company Silversmiths, Inc would be my starting place with this mark. Good luck.
