Should be Swift and Fisher. Here's an old post that is missing the images, but it sounds like your trademark: http://www.925-1000.com/forum/viewtopic ... row#p51937

Hi,

Welcome to the Forum.

Swift & Fisher of North Attleboro were known makers of ecclesiastical items. It would a pyx rather than a pill box.

The 'Chi-Rho' symbols on the top and the clasp are a bit of a give-away to its use...

Thanks for the responses.

Is Swift and Fisher still around?

And how would I go about putting a date on this piece?

I don't have an exact chronology for them, but from what I am seeing in directories, they started out as Furbish, Swift & Fisher in the first decade of the twentieth century and by the second decade they were Swift & Fisher who continued to be listed until at least the mid sixties.

Swift & Fisher was acquired by Alviti Creations of Attleboro, MA, they're still producing a line of chalices under the name - they have a website.
