Unidentified Country & Maker - Arts & Crafts silver vase

Hello,

This is a recent purchase for me. I bought the item, as it reminded me very much of the Archibald Knox classic 'Bombe' vase. The hallmarks however, don't appear British to me. Simply a .925 in an oval, and a c901 in a similar oval.

Any assistance greatly appreciated.

A very similar object (172 grams) was donated to a charity auction by the Mayor of Athens Dora Bakoyannis.

I think that you can look among the Greek silversmiths.

Looks very similar to items I purchased from the Goulandris Museum gift shop (on Vasilias Sophias Avenue) in Athens, during the 1990's.
