The sales force of the Eisenstadt Mfg. Co., got out for the new road season last week and already receipts of orders from them indicates excellent prospects for a healthy Fall business. Collections are reported better by President Geo. G. Gambrill, of the company. The firm has a travelling force of 15 salesmen and covers the entire country, west of Pittsburgh and from Canada to the Gulf.

T. F. Wylie, formerly connected with Hayden W. Wheeler & Co., New York, has joined the sales force of the Eisenstadt Mfg. Co. in the Star Building. For some weeks he will be at headquarters getting acquainted with the line and will then be assigned a territory on the road.

Morris Eisenstadt, secretary of the Eisenstadt Manufacturing Co., St. Louis, paid a hurried business trip to Chicago Wednesday of this week, Mr. Eisenstadt is looking and feeling well, and told us that the wholesale trade of the southwestern metropolis was keeping up wonderfully well, each month’s business showing a healthy increase over the same month of last year.

The Eisenstadt Mfg. Co., leading wholesale jeweler in St. Louis, Mo., recently bought the entire stock of loose diamonds from the Ingomar-Gohlsmith & Co. of New York city. The deal here involved a considerable sum of money and the Eisenstadt Co. will shortly be ready to offer the stock to its trade.

Adolph Lapping, who came to St. Louis several months ago from Atlanta, Ga., and, after being employed for a time by the Eisenstadt Mfg. Co., opened a jewelry store at 721 Morgan St., has announced that he will dispose of his business and will return to Atlanta.

M. Eisenstadt Jeweler Co. will open their factory Jan. 15th and will add a manufacturing department to their business. The factory will be located in the Globe-Democrat Building, just across the hall from the salesroom. It will be fitted up with all the latest improved machinery that is necessary in the manufacture of emblem goods, rings, and for doing special work for the trade. The machinery will be run by electricity generated in the building. Louis Gutfreund, formerly with the L. Bauman Jewelry Co., will take charge of the shop, with a force of twenty skilled workmen to turn out the work.
