Eisenstadt Mfg. Co. Celebrates Half a Century
St. Louis, Mo., July 2—The members of the Eisenstadt Mfg. Co., Louderman building, this city, have been receiving congratulations from their friends throughout the trade on the fact that their business recently passed its half century mark, having been founded June 27, 1883. The occasion was celebrated by the concern at a dinner, given at Bevo Mills, in this city, which was attended by all the employees as well as the officers.
On this occasion the employees presented the officers and directors with a very beautiful, solid gold plaque, made in the factory of the concern. The plaque, which is in the form of a double shield, bears at the top, between two replicas of the house’s trade mark, the words, “The House of Eisenstadt, Golden Anniversary, 1883-1933,” in raised letters. Beneath is a panel engraved with the following: “To commemorate a half century of steady growth and progress of the House of Eisenstadt, and to commend the officers and directors who have so successfully carried on the high traditions and straightforward business principles of it's founders.—Presented to the officers and directors this 27th day of June, 1933, by the employees.”
The members of the Eisenstadt Manufacturing Co. consist of George E. Gambrill, president; Albert Frech, vice-president; Nelson W. Hagnauer, vice-president; J. G. W. Schoenthaler, secretary-treasurer; Benjamin Altheimer, A. F. Eisenbeiss and James J. Hetzel.

Re: Information Regarding the Eisenstadt Mfg. Co. of St. Louis
Eisenstadt’s diamond business during 1936 in both loose and mounted merchandise showed the greatest percentage as well as dollar increase in sales in any year since 1929, which explains the reasons for Mr. Eisenbeiss advancing the date of his Spring Trip to the European markets to prepare for the late spring and summer trade.
Mr. Eisenbeiss in an interview stated that the market is very firm, merchandise in many sizes is extremely scarce, with considerably higher prices likely before fall.
Mr. Eisenbeiss sailed on the Berengaria March third.

Re: Information Regarding the Eisenstadt Mfg. Co. of St. Louis
When this is being read, Mr. A. F. Eisenbeiss, of the Eisenstadt Manufacturing Company, will be on his way to the United States, after a month spent in the diamond markets in Holland, Belgium and France, buying for his firm.
Eisenstadt’s diamond business the early part of the year was far beyond expectations, which made the trip necessary to bring their stock up to the proper proporitions — in both sizes and prices, for the fall trade.
From reports received from Mr. Eisenbeiss, this firm will be in a stronger position than for years, to supply the trade with the right goods, at the right prices.
