Need help with mark identification
Posted: Thu Nov 15, 2007 4:33 pm
I was given this small spoon on the occasion of my birth. I apologize for the pictures, but it's the best I could do with such a tiny spoon (3 3/4" long).
The note that accompanied it reads "American Handmade silver spoon, early 1800s. Maker's mark K&G unknown.
Any information you can pass along on the maker and a clearer time frame is greatly appreciated.
