I T Serving Spoon

I just picked up a pair of serving spoons (first half of nineteenth century?). The spoons weigh about two ounces each. The bowl has a rounded tip and a wide drop. The shoulders are smooth with no projections and the tip of the handle rolls backwards. I have included a photo of the bowl, handle and marks. If anyone can give me information on the maker and approximate dates, I would appreciate it.

The pictures could be clearer, but I believe the marks are those of John Targee, working in NYC until 1850.

I'm working on that - my close up lenses disappeared last year and I've been planning on getting new ones. I'm also getting a photo tent.

Thanks for the help!
