Hagerty's comes in so many ways. Which is the best for sterling flatware? Is it really as good as people say...Buff

i use goddard's, wash off all remaining traces with cocoa butter soap and dry with a very old flannel cloth; don't get any dips or creams that promise to clean everything off because that is exactly what they will do - and your silver will look characterless for a long time.
whether hagerty's, goddard's or anyone else's, get the cream that contains jeweller's rouge. this is a gentle cream, while you are removing tarnish you will get the oxide onto your cloth - and if you keep buffing until the cloth stays clean you will know you have got almost all the cleaner off. then wash - even tho directions tell you not to bother.
