This is the mark on a Danish vesta case. The Copenhagen mark is too distorted to read the date, but the maker’s marks is a little more legible. It is “H” with either an “O” or a “C” in the top half and an “F” in the bottom half.
Can anyone help?

Hi Paul,
Thats not the makers mark, but the mark of the Assay Master, Christian F. Heise (1904-1932), check out the mark on the Danish page.
Regards Trev.

Thanks Trev, Danish silver is not my strong point. I never thought of the assay master. Now I know why I could find any trace in the makers marks.
Paul.
