This salt spoon has a sprinkle feature at the end of it. It is 2 5/8" and I kow nothing about its maker or origin.
I would apprecaite any help you can offer.

Hmmm, sort of odd engraving there, have run across several of these little salt shaker/sifter spoons over the years, yours is the first I've seen with a trademark. Charles H. Cole of Montclair, NJ was issued the U.S. patent D134,658 for the design on Dec. 29, 1942.

Cheryl,
That's great, the funny face maker's mark is one that I have been trying to identify for years. It turns up on 1940s/50s modernist/AC studio work. This is the first time I've seen it on anything but jewelry.
I've always thought the face was comprised of letters, now I can see that they are:
C - eye O - eye
L - nose
Mustache - E on its side.
Tomorrow, I'll post a large image of the maker's mark and the pair of earrings that are stamped with it.
Thanks to you both, another mystery mark solved.
Regards, Tom

I've come across three or four other pieces, earrings & pins with a much more modern look.
