Did you mean 1869? I believe the spoon is much older than 1969.

January 1st 1892 the dicimal system was introduced into silver. In Norway. So whenever you have a 925S, 830S or like on norwegian silver - it is made after that date.

before lod was used where 16 lod equals pure silver.

What is the final mark after the 830? I know I have seen if before but just cannot remember where, and was this spoon intended to have the stem bent the way it is?

The mark after the 830 is the "S", stamped sideways as is sometimes is. The curl of the stem is intentional, fairly common, it is a sugar spoon and probably dates to the late 19th or early 20th Cent. I've seen a few examples of with Tea Leaf form bowls and wonder if those were intended as caddy spoons.

This could also be the mark of Jørgen Schultz, Notodden. b.1882 d. 1973
