Hi,

On the back of this spoon is an 800, I think. The first number is difficult to read. The spoon is really cool but I have no idea where its from or when. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Italian souvenir spoon, most likely dates from the late 19th century into, perhaps the first third of the 20th. The miter and crossed keys are the Vatican City coat of arms, the putti based on those at St Peter's Basilica, the Medusa-head bowl shows up on spoons from various Italian cities - have to say I find it a bit odd in combination with the Vatican City.
