Hello, looks like the marks have been scratched out. More likely a modern piece in the Hanau style. Best wishes, Bahner

I saw tankard I sent in the article about Hanau silver. What that means? It is modern piece in the antique style? Do you know the year or maker?
Thx
Ana

Hi Ana,

With the marks defaced, such as they are on your piece, I'll doubt we'll ever know, for sure, who was the maker of your item, unless we are fortunate enough to come across a similar one.
