Hi,
does anyone know the producer of this nice rechaud? The hallmark is: WS&S or NS&S or decide yourself. The S&S is sure. This nice rechaud did its work in the famous Luxemburg Casino Bourgeois, which was closed 1954.
Thanks for help
best regards Silvy

Hello.
The letters might be WS&S.
The WS&S mark with a signpost trademark has been attributed to two firms, W. Shirtcliffe of Sheffield (1921-1931) and William Suckling, Birmingham (c.1895-c.1960).
William Suckling later used the signpost mark with his modern S.Ltd in an oval mark.

Not sure what the extra mark is, but my guess is that your marks were used by William Suckling.

Hello,
thank you very much for your fast and accurate answer. You are right with the second opinion. The rechaud must have been produced between 1946 and 1950.
best wishes
