Help with identification - Hunter pocket watch case - GOLD?

Hello everybody
I am looking for information on a <possibly> gold case of a pocket watch in hunter style. Both the back and the front covers are marked with the same hallmark as shown in the photos.
From the lack of wear, the gentle patina and the gauge of the case it appears to me that this IS a gold made case however I have no refernce to prove it nor I know what the purity is.
It is worthy pointing out that the movement itself is made by James Russell of Locle, Switzerland in circa 1870.
I would appreciate any information.
Thank you,
Tal
