Mysterious Miniatur Tumbler - acquired in France 15Y ago

About 15 Years ago, we acquired this miniature tumbler in France, near Paris.
The owner of the Antique Shop did not know much about this piece. He mentioned, that to the best of his knowledge ,the miniature tumbler belonged to a German Officer during the WWII
A couple years ago, we started some research - unfortunately without any results.
The tumbler is silver and has a Hallmark on the bottom, that we can not identify.
It is also engraved on two sides which is also not identifiable.
We would appreciate any information that any of you may have.
Thank you!
