Is this a salt spoon? Relish spoon? Coin silver by Conrad Bard, Philadelphia. 3 7/8" long. Thank you!

Generally, in American coin, these are described as salt shovels. Not sure what the British equivalent would be.

We had salt shovels in Britain too, and they are called just that. They were replaced by the salt spoon around 1780. I'm not sure when the shovel first appeared, I'd guess 1760.
