Need Help with Mark FN&S on Fiddle Small Forks

These antique forks are 5 3/4" long. The maker's mark is a FN & S BP and some symbol. I have attached 2 pictures for your review. I think they are silverplate but they may be solid silver. I have tried to research the maker's mark but cannot find anything on this mark. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I dont know maker, but it is typical mark on silverplated.

Hello.

Looks like British silverplate marks.
The letters "BP" stand for "British Plate" which is a form of nickel silver. This is the base metal under the silverplate.

Not sure who used the FN & S mark.
A good possibility is Francis Newton & Sons Ltd., Portobello Works, Portobello Street, Sheffield, England (founded c.1906).
