Hi all, I've had a good look on the website and allthough the marks tell me its british silver, I couldn't a city mark, the makers name or the year for which the letter was used. Any ideas, any one, help would be greatly appreciated.

Thats great Koen, not sure how you found that out but thanks. Has any one got any ideas on the maker. Also I'm a little confused by all these marks, can any one explain what each mark is exactly, Thanks.

Hi Scott,
Welcome to the Forum.
Reading from top to bottom.
1/ Maker's Mark.
2/ Leopard's Head, denoting that your pendant was assayed at the London Assay Office.
3/ Lion Passant, denoting the 925/1000 Sterling standard.
4/ Date Letter 'D' for London 1978.

Thanks for that trev, I got confused because the leopards head and lion passant, where not the same as on the site. the leopard had a tash which i couldn't find in any of the city marks although there was an exact pic on the site. The lion was looking strait ahead rather than turned towards the left, as all the pics on the site.
