I am sure that it is silver. Halmark is at picture 3.
dont know from where, but i think it is silver.

It would be very helpful to have larger images of the marks.

Thank you hose-dk, i found this taste vin in a flea market in France,as the writting on the coin inset is old French, perhaps i will look in that direction. Thank you again for the Help.

Hi,
Thanks for the new pics, they do help. I believe this is pewter, not silver. Pewter marks are often hard to identify, but perhaps another forum member will know it.

Thank you, this little dish did feel a little soft for silver perhaps but i was not aware that pewter can be so polished, i hope someone can identify it one day, thank you to all. Cheers
