Can anyone identify the mark T.K. for me. I believe it to be silver, not plate, but it isn't marked sterling or anything.
Date on front says 1798 and on back it says 1820

Hello and welcome.

I believe your spoon is American coin silver.
Thomas Kinne ( or Kinney ) Sr., Norwich, Connecticut ( 1786 - 1824).

Welcome to the forum. If any of your ancestor's silver stayed in the family, it would be great to see some of it. I see that the elder Thomas Kinne died in Norwich in 1843 which is contrary to information about his death that is available elsewhere, and also that the elder Thomas had another son named Charles who was a watchmaker in Norwich.
