JOHAN FRANKEN? Dutch maker's mark IF on long handled spoon
Posted: Sun Jul 12, 2009 5:15 pm
Hello,
I am researching another spoon of Dutch origin. It bears the mark for Enkhuizen with a D date letter (1715, 1740, 1765, 1790) and an IF maker's mark.
The only IF maker recorded by Citroen in Enkhuizen is a Johan Franken, Enkhuizen, 1768-1794. This is considerably later than some of the other spoons of this type I have seen, so I am hoping someone on this forum will be able to recognise the mark. My version of Citroen is not illustrated.

And to the administrator, thanks for the guidance on posting images. Hopefully, this works now.
Best,
Laura
