I have two of these identical spoons, I have looked them both over very thoroughly and have only found this one hallmark, Minerva head with either an E or F on her head. All the information I have read said there should be other marks too. What does this hallmark tell me about this spoon.

Thank you!

Hi,

Welcome to the Forum.

The letter on the Minerva head, if 'E' that will indicate that you spoons were assayed in Groningen, or if 'F' it will be Leeuwarden.

Hi,

Well, it is silver, but without other marks it would be difficult to expand, but there's some fine knowledge on the Forum and hopefully some more information will follow.
