Hello,
Can anyone positively identify the maker's mark on this Spanish military badge. I know the Silver purity mark and maker indicated is 'Rokiski' who as I understand worked out of Madrid. What puzzles me is the mark on the left (within red circle). Thanks for your help.

It's the manufacturer's mark of Matilde Espuñes of Madrid, 1909-1950. The firm was founded by her grandfather Ramon Espuñes in 1840, and later run by her father Luis. The firm is still active; see
Espunyes.com.

Thank you very much for this info. So, Rokiski was probably not the maker of this item - perhaps a designer or distributor?
Thank you again.

Probably. Apparently "Rokiski" is the nickname of the emblem of the Spanish Air Force after Luis Rokiski, who supplied the metal versions for uniforms, the reverse of which were stamped with his name. I gather that's what you have. Chances are he was the retailer and Espünes the manufacturer, though perhaps only of the "blanks" which Rokiski would then embellish as needed for the various commands and squadrons.
