Hi,

As I see it there are two possible origins of this miniature table in the old Dutch style; German made in the Hanau region or Dutch. In this case I think that H13 is a Dutch maker's mark.

Hope this helps,

Hi,

Thanks a lot Oel,

H Hooykaas in Schoonhoven I thought that he used the mark HH. Is it possible to date the minature table from the mark H13. Do you know when it was registered?

Hi Jakjo

At the moment I am without my books. Hendrik Hooykaas used the mark
"HH" but also "H13". I found this on the Internet:
http://www.silver-miniatures.com/images ... oykaas.jpg" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I am not sure about the date but between end 19th beginning 20th century

Warm regards,

Hello,
during my research into my ancestry, my Grandmother is a member of the Hooikaas family famous for their silver work, I ended up on this site.
Upon looking at the photos i recognize the work as my great grandfathers as he made an entire silver sppon set for my mother with every handle twisted in the identical fashion of the horizontal supports on this beautiful piece.
I cannot atest to the marks on the back as the spoons did not have room for the inscription on the tops of the handles which were made of pre 2nd world war Dutch coins.
Emjoy this beautiful piece.
