I looked in the german stamps list but did not find the mark of Mau Dresden. For this reason i send these pictures of the fruit bowl and the stamps.

Hi and welcome to the forum Mulino,
While waiting for some detailed information about Wilhelm Heinrich Mau (Firma H. Mau), I can tell you that he was a prolific maker in Dresden and appointed jeweller to the court and in 1909 he had his shop in Viktoriahaus. In 1892 he installed a steam engine.
Hope this helps
Best regards/JAKJO

hi JAKJO,
We have a large number of silver cutlery from H.MAU DRESDEN 800 weight. The knives have a silver handle and a steel blade - ordinary steel, not stainless.
The part that is interesting us is the engraving on the base of the pieces. It is a seven point crown with initials underneath it.
Removed from Germany after 1948 and brought to Australia. My family and I would like to trace the owners, with the possibility of returning the cutlery to their family.
Does seven points denote duke status?
Any help would be great.
Thanks
Emily
