J.Stran(d) - Serving spoon

This serving spoon has the year 1924 inscribed on it so it is probably from somewhere around that time. The d in Strand is very hard to read, but as far as I can see there is a d in the end there.
I'm not 100% sure it is Scandinavian, but if I should guess, based on the history of the object, it's Norwegian.

Hi
Your spoon is in the pattern "Hardanger" and made by Th. Olsens Eftf. in Bergen, and Magnus Aase was one of the owners. The firm has always used his mark.
They are still in business and Hardanger is still made.
The retailer is Johan Strand in Haugesund working 1894-1926.

Great information; I've read and forgotten at least some of it. It's helpful to have it altogether on one particular piece. I've found that pattern coast to coast in the U S.

Thanks! This all makes sense as the side of the family where the spoon comes from were living in Haugesund.
